Being an enthusiast in nightlife and automotive scene for years I always urged to save those moments. Back in the day I pulled out my iphone 3gs and shot videos at 15fps, edited them, added my own music.. and it became another passion hobby.
Now I would consider myself semi-professional, I have shot many events in Europe, Japan and USA, mostly in motorsports like D1GP , Drift Allstars,
Formula Drift, Lamborghini Super Trofeo, local rally championships and autox, as well as car shows and one-off events supporting my projects - JAPCAR,
Tune86 and AutoLife305.
Often I shoot nightlife events for my DJ friends/organizers, eventually I would like to try wedding photography.
Currently I shoot with Sony A7II and Canon 70D.
Hiphop, electronic music, DJ'ing..
I`m a musical guy. In early childhood I was playing violin, singing in choir,
in teenage years turned to rap/hiphop song writing and beats production.
In 2003 I started to work as a DJ in a few local clubs. Since then I got fond of electronic music and playing in big events. Music is my passion and hobby.
You can find some of my songs/mixes on the social sites, even im sure mixes cant come close to any artist live performances: mixcloud.com/valtersboze soundcloud.com/valtersboze djtop.lv/dj/bo myspace.com/valtersboze
In 2006 I created a web project www.djnet.lv where me and latvian djs uploaded their favorite electronic music. I will probably close it as I did with one of the most popular latvian hiphop sharing portals I made 15 years ago. Some projects just have to be stopped to let new ones rise.
Japanese cars, tuning & motorsports
My first car was a '90 Toyota Celica ST185 (2.0 turbo, awd). Since then I got obsessed with cars, especially japanese cars & motorsports.
During the years I have learned a lot about engine tuning and performance. Experimenting on own cars is expensive, but it's part of the fun.
I lead japanese car club Japcar.lv, uniting tuning freaks and enthusiasts
thriving for petrol smell and rubber smoke.
Since 2009 every year I organized the biggest japanese car festival in Latvia - JAPMEET,
annually gathering 130-150 nice japanese cars and 600-700 visitors.
Since 2009 I've been interested in Toyota & Subaru project - the FT86, that turned out to be Scion FR-S, Subaru BRZ, and Toyota 86 (GT86).
I run a related webpage - Tune86.com and twitter/facebook/youtube
accounts with great community. In 2012 I went to Japan to be the first Latvian guy to drive the new GT86 before it was released to US or Europe.
Since I`m obsessed with JDM car culture and having a car event every day around Tokyo & beyond, this was the best trip of my life!
After moving to USA I got deep in photography and started a project Autolife305.com
Current cars: 1994 JDM Toyota MR2 (SW20) turbo, BMW E36 sedan , BMW E39 540 sport wagon, Subaru Forester turbo. None of them in good condition, but yeah.
Get in touch with me for business, friendship, hobbies.
